Scrappin' With The Girls 2021 LUCKY BREAK EVENT

After the cancellation of the January 2021 SWTG event due to COVID - many of you have suggested adding an event or two this year --- exact quotes from some of you "We need this!", "...we can't wait another year".  So - we made the decision to offer a very scaled back version of the January event.  We will scale back to 1/3 of our usual event size with just 32 seats available.  No worries though - the fun won't be scaled back at all!

National Scrapbook Day is always the first Saturday in May - so what better time to celebrate than with a retreat that same weekend.  We will have a few changes from the usual January retreat.  One change is the price - in order to ensure everyone is spaced out and socially distanced we will charge a flat registration fee of $130.00 per person (this does not include hotel rooms).  The majority of our usual scrapbookers already get extra space so this change won't affect you.  The registration fee includes everything noted below.  However, you will not have an option of the space upgrade as it is already accounted for in the set $130.00 fee.  We will keep everyone as far apart as possible while still allowing for groups to be together with a little more space between individuals.  Also, the Crowne Plaza has worked hard to accomodate us for this event and they have been able to offer us a reduced rate on our hotel rooms.  This will however be about $35.00 more per room per night than January as their May rate is higher.

Our 3 day event begins on Friday, April 30st at 8am and ends on Sunday May 2nd at 3pm.  You can attend this event as a local scrapbooker and come and go each day or you can make a get-away weekend of it and stay in the beautiful Crowne Plaza Hotel and Resort.  Crowne Plaza's very own Overlook Restaurant is onsite which provides committed scrapbookers with a quick and easy way to eat a delicious meal and get back to work without ever leaving the resort.

Your weekend will include:

• 3 days - 45 hours of cropping time
• 30" x 6' of cropping table space 
• Access to 4 fabulous onsite vendors with a variety of supplies
• Breakfast buffet Saturday and Sunday
• Special SWTG gift pack and prizes throughout the weekend
• Multiple break-out classes throughout the weekend for you to learn something new (additional charge for some classes)
• Hotel arrangements will be made for you (not included in Local scrapbooker choice)
• Access to use an extensive Cricut cartridge library and other tools
• Complimentary high-speed internet connection in your hotel room and the cropping room
• Option to set-up your cropping space Thursday evening after 8:00pm and stay a 3rd night so you can get an early start on Friday morning (see below, Friday breakfast not included)

Based on the interest we have already seen for this event - spaces are limited and are already filling up quickly.  Your $130.00 deposit ($50.00 of which is non-refundable) is due upon event registration.  Your $130.00 deposit holds your spot.  The remaining amount is due no later than March 31st, 2021.  Your remaining amount will vary depending upon your accomodation occupancy choice (see below).  These are per person rates.  They include retreat reservations fee, Sat/Sun breakfast, room and taxes.
